Darling Lili

Lili Smith (Julie Andrews) wants two things at once in World War I: to sing for the troops as a beloved British music hall star, and to gather secrets for Germany as an undercover spy. Her targets are the older officers and diplomats she charms, and Major William Larrabee (Rock Hudson) is one more of them. Blake Edwards sets the songs of Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer against the war, and Lili serves both sides.
