Daughter of Mine

Ten-year-old Vittoria (Sara Casu) has two mothers, and she doesn't know it yet. Tina (Valeria Golino) raised her with steady love, while Angelica (Alba Rohrwacher), the woman who gave birth to her, feels a pull toward the girl that she cannot explain or hold back. Laura Bispuri builds the film around a single question of belonging, whether a child is shaped more by the mother who gave her life or the one who raised her.
