Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier

The Creek Indian War of the early 1800s finds the Tennessee frontiersman Davy Crockett (Fess Parker) in uniform beside his friend George Russel (Buddy Ebsen). Then he is elected to Congress, and his rough-hewn ways follow him into the House of Representatives, where Andrew Jackson (Basil Ruysdael) is waiting. Norman Foster stitched three Disney television episodes into one feature, and the story moves from war to Washington to Texas and the Alamo.
