Dawn Breaks, Which Is No Small Thing

(1989)Directed by José Luis Cuerda106 minComedy

Teodoro is a Spanish engineer who teaches in the United States and comes home to spend a sabbatical year in Spain. José Luis Cuerda fills the place he returns to with a mayor (Rafael Alonso), an old man called Paquito (Manuel Alexandre), and neighbors who answer every question a little to the side. The film is about coming back to somewhere you thought you knew and finding it has stopped making sense to you.
