Day of the Animals

“A shocking vision of things to come...”

Steve Buckner (Christopher George) leads a group of hikers into the mountains, wanting a clean, ordinary trek above the tree line. Then the helicopter drops them at 5000 feet just before a quarantine is announced, and the depleted ozone layer starts turning the animals up there against anyone who walks through. William Girdler shoots it in grainy 70s film stock, Paul Jenson (Leslie Nielsen) and the others hemmed in by the thin mountain air.
