Day of the Outlaw

“Watch what happens to the women... watch the west explode!”

Outlaws ride into a small town and take it over, and the only thing holding them back is Jack Bruhn (Burl Ives), the notorious leader whose wound is already killing him. Blaise Starrett (Robert Ryan), a rancher fighting the homesteaders over land, is caught inside the same streets as Helen Crane (Tina Louise). André de Toth sets it all in winter, where men with guns and nowhere to go have to answer for what they would rather leave unsaid.
