Daydream Nation

Caroline Wexler (Kat Dennings) is dragged to a backwater town she finds painfully dull, where the school feels like a place to wait out the days. Michael Goldbach follows her into two affairs, one with a teacher, Barry Anderson (Josh Lucas), and one with Thurston (Reece Thompson), a stoner classmate. She goes looking for a way out of her boredom and takes what the town offers.
