“No air. No escape. No time.”

Kit Latura (Sylvester Stallone) used to run emergency medical response in New York, and he wants nothing more to do with it. Then a chase involving armed robbers ends in a blast beneath the Hudson River, and a handful of survivors, among them Madelyne Thompson (Amy Brenneman), are sealed inside a tunnel that is coming apart. Rob Cohen puts Kit and Madelyne in the dark together, two strangers with one way out and a lot of reasons to trust each other.
