Days of Being Wild

“You can hold me, but not my heart.”

Yuddy (Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing) is a Hong Kong playboy who leaves a trail of heartbroken women, and he wants to know who his real mother is after learning the woman who raised him is not her. Wong Kar-wai, working with cinematographer Christopher Doyle for the first time, sets the story in the early 1960s. Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung Man-yuk), a ticket seller at a stadium kiosk, falls for him, and he can't give her anything back.
