Days of Darkness

Jean-Marc Leblanc (Marc Labrèche) wants a life that notices him, anything beyond the desk where he does his government job in Montreal without much care. His wife (Sylvie Léonard) and daughters barely look up, so he fills the hours with elaborate sexual fantasies and visits to his failing mother. Denys Arcand follows the quiet marriage as it loosens when his wife leaves for Toronto, and the distance between them takes up more room than she did.
