Dead Awake

“An ancient evil. Trapped in a world of darkness. Waiting for someone to believe.”

Kate Bowman (Jocelin Donahue) is a social worker whose twin sister has just died suddenly, and she starts looking into other people who died in their sleep. Each of them reported a presence in the room during sleep paralysis, awake but unable to move, shortly before the end. Phillip Guzman keeps the camera close and the bedrooms tight, so the dread has nowhere to go.
