Dead Calm

“High seas. Deep terror. Try to stay calm.”

Rae Ingram (Nicole Kidman) and her husband John (Sam Neill) set out on a sailing trip across the Pacific, hoping the empty water will help them get past the death of their young son. Phillip Noyce keeps them alone on the yacht until a rowboat appears from a sinking ship, carrying Hughie Warriner (Billy Zane), the only survivor. Rae and John have to decide what to make of him, and of each other, with no one else for miles.
