Dead for a Dollar

“Vengeance for the right price.”

Max Borlund (Christoph Waltz) is a veteran bounty hunter who rides deep into Mexico in 1897 on a job for a wealthy businessman. He is hired to find Rachel Kidd (Rachel Brosnahan), the businessman's wife, said to have been taken by a Buffalo Soldier, and the trail leads him to Joe Cribbens (Willem Dafoe), a gambler and outlaw Max once sent to prison. Walter Hill sets the two old enemies on the same trail, with a woman's life and Max's honor riding on how it ends.
