Dead Heat

Roger Mortis (Treat Williams) is an LAPD detective who wants the one thing he has just lost, which is more time, and he has twelve hours to find out who killed him. A chemical company's re-animation machine has put him back on his feet, and his old partner Doug Bigelow (Joe Piscopo) is the only one who knows. Mark Goldblatt, directing, sends the two of them after a string of armed robberies, with Mortis coming apart a little more with every hour.
