Dead Man's Bluff

“Who says crime doesn't pay?”

Sergei (Aleksey Panin) and Simon (Dmitriy Dyuzhev) are a pair of hired muscle who have to deliver a suitcase of heroin to Mikhalych (Nikita Mikhalkov), or they will be killed. The one thing they know how to do about any problem is shoot it in the head. Aleksei Balabanov plays all of it dry and fast, and the violence is treated as nothing more than the way these men do business.
