Dead of Winter

“Wrong place. Wrong crime.”

Barb (Emma Thompson) is a widowed fisherwoman driving alone through snowbound northern Minnesota when she comes across a teenage girl, Leah (Laurel Marsden), being taken against her will. Brian Kirk sets the story hours from the nearest town, with no phone service and nobody else on the road. The girl's captors, led by Purple Lady (Judy Greer), are close, and Barb is the only one who can get Leah out alive.
