Dead or Alive

“A daring exercise in ultra-violent extremes.”

Ryuuichi (Riki Takeuchi) runs a small gang of Triad-backed men who are fighting to take over the underworld in a crime-ridden quarter of Shinjuku. Detective Jojima (Show Aikawa) is the cop trying to bring all of it down. Takashi Miike sets the two men on a collision course through the same crowded streets, and they keep circling each other long before they meet.
