Dead Ringer

(1964)Directed by Paul Henreid116 minCrime, Drama, Horror
“What Bette Davis does to Bette Davis and to Karl Malden and Peter Lawford in DEAD RINGER is just what "Baby Jane" people will adore!”

Edith Phillips (Bette Davis) is a working-class woman with a small bar and a long grudge against her twin sister, Margaret DeLorca, who married into money and never looked back. Paul Henreid sets Edith's sudden act of revenge beside Margaret's life, and she steps into the dead woman's wealth with Karl Malden (as Sergeant Jim Hobbson) among those watching. Davis plays both sisters, two faces from one woman, and Edith has to wear the second.
