Deadly Friend

“There's no one alive who'll play with the girl next door.”

Paul (Matthew Labyorteaux), a teenage computer prodigy new to town, has a robot called BB that he treats as his closest friend, until BB is destroyed and the girl next door, Samantha (Kristy Swanson), is pronounced brain dead. Wes Craven follows Paul as he decides the machine's processor might bring one of them back. It's a story about a lonely kid who can't accept losing the only people who make him feel less alone.
