Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a merc with a mouth when a time-traveling bureaucrat named Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) shows up to erase him from existence. Wade needs a partner to fight back, and the only name that fits is Logan (Hugh Jackman), a Wolverine from another universe nursing wounds far deeper than the physical kind. If Wade can't convince him to fight, everything he loves disappears.
