Dear Frankie

Frankie (Jack McElhone) is a deaf nine-year-old who follows his father's ship, the HMS Accra, from port to port on a map. His mother Lizzie (Emily Mortimer) writes every one of the letters herself. Shona Auerbach starts the clock when the real Accra is due to dock nearby, and Lizzie has two weeks to tell her son the truth or find a stranger (Gerard Butler) willing to play his father for a day.
