Dear Mother

Jean-Louis (Laurent Lafitte) wakes one day to find that his heart has stopped beating. He is not dead. He walks, talks and goes about his morning, and he turns to his wife Valérie (Karin Viard) and his friend Michel (Vincent Macaigne) to work out what is happening to him. Lafitte, who also directs, adapts Sébastien Thiéry's play and plays the man himself, quiet and upright in the middle of it all.
