Dearest

A three-year-old boy vanishes from a Shenzhen street, and his divorced parents, Tian Wenjun (Huang Bo) and Lu Xiaojuan (Hao Lei), begin searching for him together. Peter Chan builds the film on a true kidnapping case in China, with Gao Xia (Tong Dawei) among those who join the effort. Wenjun hands out flyers and follows every lead, and he keeps looking long after anyone else would have stopped.
