Death of a Salesman
“Its passion cannot be overstated. Its power must not be overlooked.”
Willy Loman (Dustin Hoffman) is an aging salesman who can no longer make the sales he once did and cannot admit it. His wife Linda (Kate Reid) and his grown sons, Biff (John Malkovich) and Happy (Stephen Lang), are drawn into the gap between what Willy tells them and what is true. Volker Schlöndorff films Arthur Miller's script as it ran on Broadway in 1984, the same cast under the stage lights.
