Jungle Julia, Austin's most popular radio DJ, heads out one night with her friends Shanna and Arlene to unwind. Someone is already tracking them, a scarred man named Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) who watches from behind the wheel of his muscle car. Tarantino shoots it in scratched, faded color, and Mike keeps the engine revving a few feet from the girls.
