Death Sentence

“Protect what's yours.”

Nick Hume (Kevin Bacon) is a mild-mannered executive with a steady job, a wife named Helen (Kelly Preston) and two sons, until his oldest boy is murdered as a gang initiation. When the law leaves him with little, grief turns Nick toward revenge against Billy Darley (Garrett Hedlund) and his crew. James Wan stages the violence in long, restless takes that chase Nick through stairwells and parking structures.
