Deep Sea

“Dive into the fantastical underwater world.”

A girl named Shenxiu (Wang Tingwen) has carried a deep sadness since her mother left, and one night a storm drops her into a world of swirling colour that no one can explain. The Hyjinx lead her toward the Eye of the Deep Sea, with the underwater chef Nanhe (Su Xin) coming along on the quest. Tian Xiaopeng, who also made Monkey King: Hero Is Back, fills the screen with dense, glowing colour and keeps nearly every frame in motion.
