Deerskin

“Killer. Style.”

In a quiet French suburb, Georges (Jean Dujardin) walks out on his humdrum life and spends his savings on a fringed deerskin jacket. Quentin Dupieux has him settle into a small town and strike up a friendship with Denise (Adèle Haenel), a bartender who has no idea how far this is going. Georges treats the jacket as the one thing worth owning, and the film gives him all the room he wants to believe it.
