Defiance

“There comes a time when we have to stand up and be counted. This is the story of one man who did.”

A seaman named Tommy (Jan-Michael Vincent) takes a temporary room in a New York neighborhood where a gang called the Souls runs the streets. He is only waiting on his next assignment and tries to keep to himself, but his neighbors are afraid and the gang is not inclined to leave anyone alone. John Flynn builds the story around Tommy and Marsha (Theresa Saldana), a neighbor whose trust he has to earn.
