“Déjà vu is thought to be a trick of the mind... but what if it's not?”

An ATF agent named Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) investigates a ferry bombing in New Orleans that kills hundreds. As he digs into the wreckage, he discovers a surveillance technology that lets him watch events from the past, and he becomes obsessed with a woman who died in the blast. To save her, he pushes the technology toward time travel, risking everything to alter what he has already seen happen.
