Deli Deli Küpeli

In a country village in 1986 Turkey, two men walk in off the road, and the villagers take one for the new sheriff and the other for the local magistrate. They are patients who slipped out of a mental asylum, sure they had been quarantined by mistake, and Kemal Sunal plays Deli Kaymakam with a straight face. Kartal Tibet keeps the village believing, which leaves two escaped patients holding real authority over people who trust them.
