Three years after her husband's death, Nathalie Kerr (Audrey Tautou) has stopped letting anyone get close, and then a Swedish co-worker, Markus Lundell (François Damiens), starts courting her anyway. The brothers David and Stéphane Foenkinos adapted David's own novel for their first feature as directors. Markus is rumpled and sincere, and Nathalie has to decide whether she can let him in.
