Deliver Us from Eva

“Lead us into temptation but...”

The brothers-in-law of Eva Dandridge (Gabrielle Union) have one wish: for her to stop running their lives. She has run her three younger sisters' since their parents died, and she sorts through their relationships like a warden. So the men pay Ray Adams (LL Cool J), the neighborhood playboy, $5,000 to take her out. Gary Hardwick, adapting The Taming of the Shrew, keeps the sisters, husbands and boyfriends in one noisy circle around her.
