In 2013, Kyle (Danny Barclay) and Rachel Massy (Laurel Vail) are expecting their first child and have agreed to let a family-oriented reality show film every stage of the pregnancy. Director Brian Netto keeps the footage at the level of a production crew's cameras, so the Massys' home is never out of view. Then the cameras catch events nobody can explain, and Rachel becomes convinced a malevolent spirit has taken hold of the baby she is carrying.
