Demons of the Mind

“They came to torture an agonised mind.”

In a Bavarian estate, Baron Zorn (Robert Hardy) keeps his grown children, Emil (Shane Briant) and Elizabeth (Gillian Hills), shut inside the house, away from the village. A physician arrives to look into why they are confined and finds incest, sex and signs of satanic possession in the family. Peter Sykes, working for Hammer, keeps the camera close to the house's walls and the people trapped inside them.
