(2016)Directed by Mick Jackson109 min · PG-13Drama, History
“The whole world knows the Holocaust happened. Now she needs to prove it.”

In an English courtroom, the American historian Deborah Lipstadt (Rachel Weisz) is sued for libel by David Irving (Timothy Spall), whom she had called a Holocaust denier in print. Under British law she must prove her claim true, and her barrister Richard Rampton (Tom Wilkinson) tells her to stay quiet. Mick Jackson keeps most of the film inside the legal preparation, built on the case's actual records.
