Desert Fury

“Two men wanted her love ... The third wanted her life !”

Nobody in the small Nevada desert town can say why Paula Haller (Lizabeth Scott), the daughter of a casino owner, keeps going back to Eddie Bendix (John Hodiak), a racketeer once suspected of murdering his wife. Her mother Fritzi (Mary Astor) and the town's lawman Tom Hanson (Burt Lancaster) both try to pull the two apart. Lewis Allen shoots it in Technicolor, and Paula stands in the glare of the desert with the casino at her back.
