“He came back to settle the score with someone. Anyone. EVERYONE.”

A trail of blood runs through the border towns of Mexico, and it leads one man to Bucho (Joaquim de Almeida), the last of the infamous drug lords. El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas) follows it with a guitar case and a friend at his side. Robert Rodriguez sends him against Bucho's army of desperados, and El Mariachi wants only the man who killed his lover.
