“More minions. More despicable.”

Gru (Steve Carell) has hung up his villain's cape and spends his days with his three girls, Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier Ellis) and Agnes, until Lucy (Kristen Wiig) of the Anti-Villain League turns up and drafts him. A powerful mutagen has been stolen, and Gru suspects El Macho (Benjamin Bratt), a villain long believed dead. Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud send him after the thief, and the missing mutagen could do real harm to the whole world.
