Detective Miwako Sato of the Tokyo police wants to get through her own wedding without the past walking in, but three years after the bombings that killed Matsuda, the man she loved, it hasn't gone quietly. Susumu Mitsunaka opens in Shibuya at Halloween, where an assailant bursts into the ceremony and wounds Detective Takagi as he shields her. Watching him go down, Sato sees the same grim reaper that stood over Matsuda, and the two men blur together.
