Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings

Strange reports reach Empress Wu Zetian (Carina Lau) in Loyang: warriors in Chiyou ghost masks, foxes that speak human language, and palace pillar sculptures that move on their own. She sends Detective Dee (Mark Chao You-ting) to find out who is behind it. Tsui Hark fills the case with masked fighters and talking animals, and Dee keeps pulling at each odd detail, certain one thread will lead back to a person.
