“Cancel Your Future”

Riley Jones (Shanley Caswell) is a high school outsider in Grizzly Lake who spends her days dodging the popular crowd and nursing a crush on Clapton Davis (Josh Hutcherson). Then a killer called Cinderhella begins stalking the student body, and the whole class lands in detention under Principal Verge (Dane Cook). Joseph Kahn cuts the film at a frantic clip, and underneath it sits a plain idea: high school feels like a horror movie to the people stuck inside it.
