“It's the murder capital of the world. And the biggest Black rip-off of the decade.”

A fundraiser for a Black politician is robbed in Detroit, and no one in the room can say who walked out with the money. Detectives Danny Bassett (Alex Rocco), who is white, and Jesse Williams (Hari Rhodes), who is Black, are handed the case. Arthur Marks puts them in the same car with the city leaning on both, and Jesse carries it hardest, knowing exactly who is watching him.
