Sôichi Negishi (Kenichi Matsuyama) came to Tokyo to play gentle, stylish Swedish-style pop. Instead he fronts the death metal band Detroit Metal City as Johannes Krauser II, the face-painted demon emperor, a part he hates and is unnervingly good at. Toshio Lee follows his two lives, the sweet one he wants and the grotesque one that keeps getting applause.
