“Kiss the rules goodbye.”

Four teenage boys in Detroit in 1978 have one thing on their minds, and it has nothing to do with school: a sold-out Kiss concert and the tickets they do not have. Adam Rifkin follows Hawk (Edward Furlong), Lex (Giuseppe Andrews), Trip (James DeBello) and Jam (Sam Huntington) through a strip club's amateur night, a face-off with religious protesters and a convenience store holdup. They play together in a Kiss tribute band, and every bad idea gets made together.
