“Get Ready for Emotional Atyachar”

Devendra "Dev" Dhillon (Abhay Deol) wants Paro (Mahie Gill), the girl he grew up beside in Punjab, and ruins it with one wrong assumption about her. He drinks and drugs his way toward Delhi, where he meets Leni (Kalki Koechlin), an escort carrying her own past. Anurag Kashyap updates Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 1917 novel with a loud, restless style that never lets the music or the colour settle.
