“Man's best friend... or the devil's spawn?”

In a quiet American suburb in the late 1970s, the Barry family brings home a puppy for the kids. Mike (Richard Crenna) and Betty (Yvette Mimieux) see a pet for Bonnie (Kim Richards) and Charlie (Ike Eisenmann), though the dog has a darker origin that none of them know. Curtis Harrington, who made this one for television, keeps the horror inside ordinary rooms and ordinary daylight.
