Sunny Bhasin (John Abraham) leads a squad of South Asian players in the UK, with Shaan Ali Khan (Arshad Warsi) in the dressing room and Rumana Khan (Bipasha Basu) close by. Vivek Agnihotri draws on the real struggles of Asian footballers there, so the game becomes a fight to be allowed on the pitch at all.
