Diana

“The legend is never the whole story”

Diana (Naomi Watts) spends her last two years pressing for a ban on land mines while hiding a love affair with Hasnat Khan (Naveen Andrews), a Pakistani heart surgeon. Oliver Hirschbiegel follows her through hospital corridors and phone calls made in secret. The film rests on the two of them, her need to be known as herself and his wish for a life the attention around her would not allow.
