A killer is slashing people to pieces, and the victims share nothing: different neighborhoods, different bank balances, no obvious link between them. Dick Tracy (Morgan Conway) gets a clue that fifteen murders are planned, so he has to find what connects the dead before the count climbs. William Berke keeps Tracy working through suspects, with Pat Patton (Lyle Latell) at his side and Tess Trueheart (Anne Jeffreys) waiting on him.
